In our last session we had learnt about "simple Present tense".I hope that will have helped you.So here we are going to start our 2nd session "simple past tense".
As we had planned we have to segregate it into 2 parts.Then only we can able to learn this concept clearly.So here we go

We can further classify this as 2 parts.i)Positive sentence
ii)Negative sentence
i).Positive Sentence
In positive sentence we can directly use the past form of the verb.We don't need to get confused as like simple Present.So we need to know the past form of verbs are essential.

I worked
They studied
He ran

Note:
Here we don't need to get confused whether the pronoun represents singular or plural as like simple Present tense.Past form of the verb is suffix.

ii).Negative Sentence
For make negative sentence in simple past we need to use "did not" .I will explain it.Just add this word after the subject or before the verb.

I didn't work
They didn't come

2.Question sentence
I hope we don't need to explain the sub categories of question sentence.Because we have already seen about it in our last session.

i).Yes/No questions
To make this type of questions in simple past we have a keyword "did".Just add it in front of the sentence as like below.
We can further classify this as 2 types.
