Singular & Plural Basics
This is very basic article for understand the variation between singular and plural .Because often we are confusing to pick the suitable one.Here I explain you some rules about those.
1.Singular subjects(noun)+singular verb
2.Plural subjects(noun)+plural verb
Some common singular subjects are
anybody,each,each one,either,neither,everyone,nobody,no one,somebody,someone
As i had told my last article ,Everything is related to time which is tenses.So i explain this concept for each tense.Because it varies for each tense.
Mostly the pronouns I, he,she,it belong to singular category and we ,you,they belong to plural category.

2.Past tense
Singular-was
Plural -were
(e.g)
It was too long
My friends were in India
3.Future tense
In future tense no discrimination ."will" is used for both singular and plural.
(e.g)
They will be my friends.
